Le 3 specie note di questo genere sono state reperite in mwdgAmerica settentrionale, mwdwMessico, isole mweaBahamas e mweqCuba: la specie dall'mwegareale più vasto è la mwewL. cubanus rinvenuta negli mwfqUSA, isole mwfgBahamas e mwfwCubacite-ref-gnaphosidae-1-0[1].

Considerato sinonimo anteriore di mwhgParamyrmecion (mwhwBryant, 1940), a seguito di un lavoro degli aracnologi mwiaPlatnick & Shadab (1980a)cite-ref-gnaphosidae-1-1[1].

Non sono stati esaminati esemplari di questo genere dal 2007cite-ref-gnaphosidae-1-2[1].
